Synopsis: Headlock has felled the heroes, stretching their minds like taffy. He
reads their memories:
The Fantastic Four contacted Alpha Flight to investigate suspicious energies
in the Yukon. Storm and Grimm go to a hockey game, while Mac, Walter, Michael,
and Aurora assist the Richards in Tuktoyatuk, where they find the people are
being controlled, and they retreat so they don't have to fight them. Aurora uses
her light to calm them, while Reed tracks the telepath. Both fail.
Mac finds Headlock's house, but when they approach, he exaggerates their
insecurities, incapacitating them. Aurora forces him to admit his motivation: he
does this because he can. He prepares to battle the rest of the heroes, who are
on their way.
