Executive Editor for Marvel Comics Tom Breveoort, made inflamitory remarks recently in his personal blog on Marvel.com. Breveoort commented on the fan campaign Fight For The Flight, stating that fans were sending letters that were "irate and venom-filled " and "threatening and bullying". I personally know this to be untrue, as I manage that site also. The letters sent to Marvel on this subject have been polite, curtious, and supportive of Omega Flight. Fans who read the blog were shocked and offended that a Marvel executive would show such complete disrespect for it's fans.

Breveoort made further comments, reffering to the campaign as a "petition", stating that this is not the way to effect changes, that the aim should be on sales. By making this statment, Breveoort proved he had not so much as read the Fight For The Flight site, as sales IS the focus. In short, THIS editor is expecing a public apology from Breveoort for his unfounded remaks and accusations.

On the weekly Joe Fiday column at Newsarama a full colour page from Omega Flight #1 has been revealed. This image is proof positive of the creative teams attention to detail, and desire to show homage to classic Alpha Flight. In the image we see two panels showing Walter Langkowski's apartment building, which had been shown once in Alpha Flight #12 vol. 1.
