Well, I absolutely missed it as it got moved to the Fan Fic part of his Forum, but JB has actually posted 12 issues worth of Elsewhen since the end of last year, and in April he posted a #10 which included a panel of the twins:

Considering that it seems that he is not much of a fan of his own creations (Alpha Flight), it's interesting that Byrne included 4 Alphans in this.

LOADS more Mac, Heather, and Shaman in the issues since (#26-28)
Today's installment of the ELSEWHEN storyline indicates that DEPARTMENT H is not/was not intended to be a huge, public organization. Which is in line with the Byrne-era volume 1 ALPHA FLIGHT. Which makes sense to me/is plausible because people [i.e. (super-)villains] knowing who AURORA and Heather and Walter are would spell bad news for them and their relatives. Very bad news.
