Hunh. Is that common these days? (smearing of ink)
I got an issue of Adventures Of The Super Sons recently that has a huge streak of black ink all up the page. One of the captions is unreadable.
(The shop gave me credit for it; they didn't have another copy.)

Sorry. I wasn't clear: the ink smudges at the touch. Reading it, touching it, handling it smears/leaves ink on your fingers. Not good.
-
Oh; possibly symptoms of the same thing, possibly not.
Either way, I just picked up my replacement copy and that page is fine.
While I was in that store, I put the one-shot on my standing order. Unfortunately, it became obvious that the guy serving me didn't know who Alpha Flight was.
I had to fire him. I just had to.
(Actually, I convinced him to read the recent reprint of #1 that they still had on the shelf!)

Well, it's a start. Good luck to them.

They reprinted AF #!? That's cool, I had no idea they ever reprinted that issue.
As much as I liked frequenting my LCS in years past, I won't be getting a print copy of this. I would if Marvel still did free digital codes, but I'm pretty sure they stopped. Nope, it'll be Comixology for me. Or maybe the Marvel site itself.

Yeah, about a month or two ago; one of their facsimile editions.
I didn't buy it either - I've got the original, plus the trade; but it's cool that it's out there.

Digital Codes are back.
They saw sense and reinstated them after 3 months.
