Aren't the "secret identities" of the volume 4 members of AF public knowledge? Didn't "Heather"/Vindicator call out Mac/Guardian on TV? Wouldn't somebody recognize "Heather"/Vindicator when she tried to falsify/create her identity?

I think secret identities are largely a thing of the past these days, and Alpha largely don't have them anymore.
As for Heather being recognised - I guess it depends on how famous she is.

I've always wanted to see an MCU scene where Tony Stark comes up to a little girl and says "I'm Tony Stark!" and she says "Who?"
